How to obtain Driving License

PROCEDURE:

1. First Schedule an appointment for the Learning License test 
2. you can do this online or offline.
3. Before the test, you have to prepare all Road Signs, Rules and Regulations 
4. On the day of test, write the exam for 20 questions
5. You have to answer atleast 12 questions correctly to pass the online exam at the RTO Center.
6. Once Learning License test is passed, You will be issued a printout of the same.
7. You need to retain this document till you get permanent driving license.
8. Next After 30 days, only you can go for Driving License test, by physically visiting the RTO center.
9. But you can plan to book driving license test in advance online and be ready.
10. Schedule an appointment for the test of competence online by visiting the website or any RTO office where such facility exists. In other cases schedule an appointment directly at the Office Concerned.
11. An application in Form 4, for a permanent driving licence shall be made along with the Learners' Licence obtained for such class of vehicle.
12. The applicant who has held a valid Learners' Licence, for a period of at least 30 days, shall be competent to appear for the test of competence.
13. The test of competence will be conducted by the competent authority.
14. The applicant should bring a vehicle of the type to which the application relates.
15. The applicant should satisfy the officer conducting the test regarding his capability to drive the vehicle and his ability to perform the tasks specified in Rule-15(2) of the CMVR.
16. The candidate who passes the test of competence successfully will be issued with a driving licence and sent through speed post to the address funished.
17. Fees as prescribed along with user charges
